After leaving Manchester UK in 2001, we spent almost 6 years in China. After that we were in Mexico City for about 8 months and then went to Hong Kong, where we lived and worked for 18 months. After spending 3 years in Laos, we moved to Taiwan, and have been resident here for almost 5 years.

Having a good working knowledge of Chinese, much of our work involves editing Chinese to English translations, though we are also used to editing translations from many other languages, including Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Thai and Lao, as well as copy editing and proofreading English books, novels, magazines, technical publications and instruction manuals.

We have many years of experience handling specialist subjects such as law and judicial issues, the media, information technology (IT), intellectual property (IP), ecology and the environment, green issues, financial and government policies, and the Olympic Games.

We are currently particularly involved with maritime law and issues related to international shipping, as well as ball-bearing technology and research.
